The Saint Francis Boys' Home, located in Boston, Massachusetts, was the orphanage in which Sam and Nathan Drake were left following their mother's suicide. Nathan Drake was placed in the orphanage aged five after his father surrendered him to thıe state. Sam left the orphanage when he was old enough to find a job to provide for the two. As he grew up, young Nate developed a fascination with British explorer and privateer Sir Francis Drake.

As a teenager, Nathan Drake came here to steal Sir Francis Drake's ring from the Museo Marítimo. While there, he met Victor Sullivan and Katherine Marlowe, who were also after the ring.

Nathan Drake and his brother Samuel Drake, along with Rafe Adler, went to Panama to collect the Saint Dismas Cross in the Panamanian jail led by the prison's corrupted warden Vargas.

During their search for El Dorado, Nate and Sully searched at the coordinates in the forest, eventually discovering several hidden ruins. There, they ended up stumbling upon an entrance, which led them inside a long-lost temple.
